LVMH HR Chief Chantal Gaemperle Exits Group

Chantal Gaemperle, LVMH’s human resources & synergies chief and a member of the group’s executive committee, is leaving the French company after 17 years.

The Swiss executive joined LVMH in 2007 from food & beverage conglomerate Nestlé.

Her successor at LVMH’s HR division has not yet been announced. Gaemperle is leaving to “pursue new projects,” LVMH said in a statement Wednesday.

Gaemperle’s exit is the most recent of the group’s management changeovers. This fall, selective retailing chief Chris Delapuente left the group, as did wine and spirits boss Philippe Schaus. Earlier this year, deputy CEO Toni Belloni retired, while former LVMH fashion group CEO Sidney Toledano was brought back out of retirement just four months after former Louis Vuitton CEO Michael Burke was named the unit’s chief executive.

Hublot and Tag Heuer, two of the group’s watch brands, also changed chief executives this summer.
