Chris C.: Unless New York can get KAT unstuck, it will be a long series. Too often he is catching the ball while stationary in the post, or on the elbow, and has to try to spin or jab step his way to open space. I’m not sure what happened to the Brunson/KAT pick and roll but we need it; if KAT can catch the ball on the move before his defender is set, he can be a devastating offensive force.
Patrick M.: Big performances from a lot of guys but I thought Josh Hart was the MVP of Game 1 for the Knicks. When they were down big, he just kept pushing them in transition and got some huge rebounds. He and Holiday looked like the two most impactful players out there for most of the game.
Daniel I.: The basketball gods punished the Celtics’ unethical hoops, “Hack-a-Robinson” strategy by placing an electromagnetic field around their basket. Never pick a fight with the basketball gods for they are a petty bunch.
Abi O.: Is it me or does O.G. Anunoby not get enough credit for his two-way excellence across the league, yet, KAT, who I think is very overrated is talked as a sure bet to make first or second team All-NBA! The same KAT who struggles against smaller defenders?
