Barry Keoghan’s Shirtless Sweater Vest Is Transitional Dressing at Its Hottest

Barry Keoghan’s been taking a little bit of a break. Following the release of Masters of the Air and the madness that was Saltburn, the Irish actor treated himself to a few well-deserved months off. Because even when you’re one of the hottest guys in Hollywood, you still need some R&R every now and then. But, over the weekend, he made a surprise appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival. And suddenly, everything is right in the world again.

During the premiere for Bird (the Cannes favorite that he exited Gladiator II for), Keoghan pulled up to the red carpet with a flawless smile, perfect stubble, and immaculately tousled hair. While most guys would wear a nice suit to something like this, The Banshees of Inisherin star isn’t most guys. So in classic Keoghan fashion, he slipped on a Fair Isle vest (sans shirt, of course).

Crafted in Italy from pure merino wool, this piece was colored in a soft blush pink hue and decorated with a Fair Isle pattern across the entire front and back. Stretchy ribbed trims hit the collar, sleeves, and bottom hem, but even though the arm holes were pretty decently-sized, they were only just big enough for the Oscar nominee’s giant biceps to have squeezed through. So who was the designer behind it? Louis Vuitton, that’s who.

But this wasn’t any ordinary LV piece. In fact, this vest actually dropped as part of Tyler, the Creator’s Louis Vuitton capsule from earlier this year. Released as part of a wider collection that included cable-knit sweaters and mechanic jackets, this was one of the first items to sell out—and it’s not hard to see why.

Welcome back, Barry Keoghan. You and your big fits were sorely missed.
