Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross was arrested and charged Monday for criminal damage of more than $25,000, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested at 2:54 p.m. local time and booked at 4:27 p.m in Shawnee, Kan.
The charge carries a level 7 felony classification in Kansas.
A court date for Ross is set for 1:30 p.m. local time on Tuesday, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. There is no bond amount listed on the booking report.
Ross, 23, signed with the Chiefs in May 2022 as an undrafted free agent. He was a member of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl-winning roster in the 2022 season.
In 2023, Ross has three receptions for 34 yards. The Chiefs are currently 6-1 and sit in first in the AFC West.
