Dior designer Maria Grazia Chiuri will show her next cruise collection in Rome, her hometown, on May 27th. The long-serving creative director has made destination cruise shows that harness local artists and craftspeople a key element of her method.
The news comes as Dior grapples with a market-wide slowdown that has hit the French couture giant hard. Fashion revenue at owner LVMH fell 5 percent in the third quarter, badly missing estimates.
The exact location of the Rome show has yet to be revealed.
