Manchester City full-back Joao Cancelo is close to joining Al Hilal.
Al Hilal and City have reached an agreement on a fee and Cancelo is close to agreeing terms with the Saudi Pro League side.
The 30-year-old spent the second half of the 2022-23 season on loan at Bayern Munich before joining Barcelona for the 2023-24 campaign.
Cancelo scored four goals in 42 appearances for Barcelona last season and was previously a key player at City, for whom he has made 154 first-team appearances.
Cancelo joined City from Juventus in 2019 and has won three Premier League titles with the club, but was made available for transfer in January 2023 and has not played for Pep Guardiola’s side since.

Why this latest Manchester City legal row feels different
City are been well-stocked in full-back areas with Kyle Walker, Josko Gvardiol, Nathan Ake and Rico Lewis all available in the positions.
“In training, we say, ‘Hi’, we talk, and train,” Guardiola said of Cancelo ahead of the new season when asked about the Portuguese’s future.
“That’s all. About what’s going to happen, it depends on his agent and the club. And at the end, if he has to stay, we will treat him like all the other players we have done since I’ve been here.”
