Summer may be long gone, but you can keep the OOO feeling going through fall by taking notes from GQ Hype‘s latest cover star Hailey Bieber. Photographed in the extremely vibey Cayman Islands, the model-turned-skin care guru keeps things cool and comfortable in a Supreme T-shirt, ERL shorts, and Salomon RX Moc 3.0 slip-ons. The tropical-inspired footwear is exactly what you want to be wearing when the temps continue to drop and you’re looking for your next dopamine-boost.
Initially designed as recovery shoes, Salomon’s best-seller has become a staple for leisure and a bona fide flex thanks to recent buzzy, slightly off-kilter collabs with Sandy Liang and Paris-based vegan restaurant Jah Jah. Those collabs are often in short supply, which is why updated colorways included in Salomon’s core line—a minimalist cream, sandy toffy, and the technicolor orange pair donned by Hailey Bieber—are extra exciting. In the age of Salomon, taking a load off does not need to equal a snoozefest.
Of course, form and function are all there: The breathable mesh uppers are accented with pull loops at the collar and heel for easy on/off access (although we doubt you’ll want to take them off any more than you have to), while a cushy EVA midsole is reinforced by extra-grippy rubber bottoms. The only thing missing is, well, a one-way ticket to a tropical getaway.
