Hello everyone and welcome along to The Athletic, where we’re covering the big game this evening.
After all the drama from the midweek Champions League fixtures (more on that later), our attention turns to the Europa League and to two of the competition’s pre-tournament favourites: Tottenham Hotspur and AS Roma.
Tottenham had a perfect record until Galatasaray beat them in Turkey earlier this month, but still lie in the top eight, while Roma are languishing down in 20th after a mixed start to their campaign.
